i was very surprised to learn that a lot of people do not like this look on cassie.

I personally think it was the most incredible and daring move shes made her whole career.

When asked why she decided to do something so boldly, in an interview,

she stated, “Sometimes in life, you need a change. Something that displays the ‘I don’t give a f—’ attitude that was always present, but never showcased. Something deeper than what you thought you were capable of. And something that will shock your mother, but make her call you a ROCK STAR.”

it wasnt about what other people would think or how her own mother would feel,

she literally just woke up and said,

"fuck it. take the right side smooth off."

she even went as far as to say that shaving her head was liberating

and made her more comfortable in her body.

im sure many people tried to talk her out of it but come on now, be serious. shes Cassie.

Along with her change in physical appearance, Cassie also upped the anty on her vocals too.

She recently released a rather smashing hit,

featuring Diddy (but of course) called,

Must be love.

and by far, NO ONE could have sung it the way she sang it. =)

no matter the time of day or mood,

just hearing her voice over that beat, makes everything Right.

& Let me not forget to mention that YES. Diddy did his thang.
